The Scottish Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) Best Practice Update and Introduction to New Scottish Simulation Training Pathway will take place on Wednesday 12 March 2025 at the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel, Clydebank.

- Introduction to the new Scottish Simulator assisted Bronchoscopy and Endobronchial Ultrasound Training Pathway and your role as trainers and experts in the field
- ‘How I do it’ –International experts discuss Systematic assessment and staging of mediastinum by EBUS
- Hands on training using simulator
The course is designed for clinicians who are currently performing bronchoscopy and EBUS in Scotland.
The day will provide update on latest standards, guide you through the new simulation based training program and how you can help support trainees in your area.
International experts will discuss and demonstrate how they perform and teach comprehensive nodal staging by EBUS.
Following a series of lectures and interactive discussions in the morning, you will have ample opportunity for hands on practice with the simulator.
By the end of the day, you will understand the rationale for change and how you can deconstruct procedures to ensure the best experience for trainees in your area. This will be a relaxed and interactive course with expert UK and international faculty sharing their experience.
Places are strictly limited to ensure that delegates will receive maximum hands-on experience.

Registration is free to Scottish consultants who are involved in training on bronchoscopy and/or EBUS
Refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day. There will be a course dinner on the evening of Tuesday 11 March. Please let us know if you can attend course dinner and any dietary requirements when you book.
